On Tuesday, May 31st, a bus driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed south of the border in Sonora State with several Arizona passengers on board. Investigators state that the bus driver will not face charges for this fatal accident that killed three passengers and injured 16 others. Rob Kardashian, the 29-year old star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, stock entrepreneur, and luxury car collector was startled when a vehicle struck his luxurious Bentley as he was merging onto the 101 freeway in Los Angeles. Los Angeles Ordered to Pay Over $20 Million for Dangerous Intersection Car Accident Death

On Monday May 2nd, the city of Los Angeles was held liable for an accident that killed a scientist in San Pedro three years ago. The young son and widow of 59-year-old Thomas Guilmette who worked at Northrop Grumman was granted $23.7 million. Guilmette’s motorcycle hit a car that moved into traffic on a crowded intersection in northwest San Pedro. According to Guilmette’s family attorneys, he would have been alive if the intersection had been designed correctly with safety in mind.
